Future of Precision Engineering Event at FANUC
The CaviTech team recently attended FANUC’s Future of Precision Engineering event, joining leading manufacturers, molders, mouldmakers and automation experts from across the plastics industry. To understand the current state of plastics manufacturing, and deepen relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers.

Throughout the event, our team explored how robotics, automation, and process control are being applied specifically to plastics processing and precision plastic components. Conversations with industry peers and daily panel discussion helped reinforced several important themes:

- Sustainability
-
- Focus on responsible practices in plastics processing and precision plastic components
-
- Strong alignment with our own sustainability journey and recent ISO 14001 certification
- AI and connectivity
-
- How robotics, automation and connected systems can improve quality, consistency and process control
-
- Data-driven insights to enhance uptime, traceability and overall equipment effectiveness
- Training and Education
-
- The importance of developing skilled engineers to get the best from modern automation
-
- Ongoing training to support customers with complex mouldmaking and plastics applications
Our key takeaway from FANUC’s event is that the future of plastics manufacturing will be driven by skilled people, responsible practices, and close collaboration. At CaviTech, we remain committed to developing highly skilled engineers, strengthening our sustainability efforts following our recent ISO 14001 certification, and continually improving the level of service we provide in mouldmaking.
